Leslie Here!
Words are Leslie's world, but she knows that crafting them into click-worthy content can be overwhelming.
That’s why she combines Ivy League editing expertise, award-winning journalism, and an insider’s view of college admissions to help students write essays that are as distinctive as they are. In fact, Leslie founded Content House after spending more than a decade working with university admissions teams. She knows which Common Apps get tossed aside and which rise to the top of the pile.
Leslie earned a degree in English from the University of California, Berkeley, before becoming a magazine editor who's guided writers at Columbia University, Time Inc., Bertelsmann, and other education and publishing powerhouses. She’s also a published author and former investigative reporter. She still remembers the New Jersey contractor who swerved from an off-the-record interview about toxic dumping to talk about his passion for growing dahlias.
That interview taught her that everyone has at least one whiz-bang story to tell.
So, take a deep breath. If Leslie can get contractors to talk dahlias and professional authors to trust her with their words, she can help you, too. Whether you’re a planner or a procrastinator, a track star or gazing at the stars, a musician or a mathematician, Leslie already knows you’ve got a whiz-bang story, too.
let’s write it.
